The South Arkansas District - Nazarene Youth International - 58th Annual Convention convened Saturday May 1, 2010. In Session One, we enjoyed a time of praise and worship lead by KaLonie Grant and a challeging message brought to us by Kent Britton (NARK District President). In Session Two, Parker Hull delivered his first NYI Presidents report after serving his first year. Following the report, elections were held.
NYI Executive Council Results: Parker Hull (President), Robbie Keene (Vice President), Robert Yates (Secretary), Donna Holderfield (Treasurer).
NYI Council Results: Tom Hunter & Anthony Soto (Adult Reps), Luke Palmer & Britnee Edwards (College/Career Reps), Joseph Blissett, Tiffany Hunter, Kristin Stein (Sr. High Reps), Andrew Marston, Hayley Adams, Drew Beinhoff (Jr. High Reps).
Congratulations to all who were elected! My prayer is that we would lead the South Arkansas District NYI in the way that God would want us to go. Thank you to all the churches who make it a priority to be involved with the district and thank you to all of the leaders who help make our district NYI what it is.
